    Howdi,

Is there a command line option when rendering to not overwrite prevously written frames? Also how high do you guys set the cache level in Nuke?

No, there is no builtin function for that, but you could easily write a little tcl or shell script that gives you the numbers of all frames that have not been rendered yet, and pass those frame numbers as a command line argument to Nuke.
