Hi all. I,m working actually in a Shake project, but I need to use 2D particles done in Combustion. My main problem is that if I comp and create the entire scene with the particle operator in Combustion, looks great (example: a BG with 2D smoke tracked, or an explosion with debri, smoke, fire, etc). But my problem comes when I try to render just the particle with the right animation and timing to comp in Shake: always looks different, with dark edges, and far from be photorealistic. I tried all kind of combinations: render with alpha, without and over a black frame and use a luma key in Shake, changing the “intense” option… but doesn’t work. How can I keep and render EXACTLY the same particle that looks so good when it’s all comp inside the Combustion’s particle operator? (the problem happens mainly with smoke particles)

    Thank’s.

The darker edges sounds like the render sequence might not be premutiply, but even then i doubt that u can recreate the comp as in combustion without having to play around with the matte and maybe some glow.
