Like many companies we are moving towards Linux. I have been looking at the options for compositing on Linux. Apart from Shake, Nuke and Digital Fusion, I only found Jahshaka that runs on Linux. We are currently testing Shake on Linux and it works great but for how long…

I’d like to hear about your production (compositing) experience on Linux and comments on the various softwares mentionned above. Anybody here aware of more software?

    Thanks!

    Hi…

I have been keeping my eye on a new program called JahShaka…

It is best decsribed as the worlds first OpenSource Realtime Editing and Effects System. Jahshaka takes advantage of the power of OpenGL and OpenML, too.

It is in the VERY EARLY stages and has only early / basic tools.. Check it out at:

    bye,

    JACK
