Hello folks!
Just wondering if its possible to do a “cross upgrade” from *c3 Windows to *c 2008 Mac when it arrives? According to Autodesk Combustion 2008 should be out “now”, well late this year anyways.
I’ve totaly migrated to the Apple way of life and i don’t want to buy the retail version of 2008 when i could buy an upgrade. But is it possible?

It worked here as a crossgrade form C3 (MAC) to C4 (PC) … so….why not ?

“The Page You Were Looking for Was Not Found” …. is that a good sign?
November 6, 2007 at 7:01 pm #216253suresh kParticipantIm guessing the folks at Autodesk took the site away cause it got “published” in this forum.
Which could mean a few things. Webmaster made a misstake with putting the release date on the site or the product won’t get finished this year after all.Took a while to find the site that had the info cause i couldnt find Combustion at all, thought they had removed it at first. Still hard to find the Combustion site. Its not under the Tv site.

It stated better intergration with Photoshop/Illustrator, a clean up of the schematic and the color warper (of which really already exists in combustion). All this before the end of the year.
I really wish they had have rolled Combustion into Toxic, now they have two half baked products instead of one ok one, so Combustion will never see Motion and Toxic will never see the good things out of Combustion. The marketing teams would be to scared to see crossover.
autodesk, stifling innovation.
