Here the other day i was about to copy some of my Combustion workspace files from a network drive down to my own PC.
BUT… There were like a million and i didn’t have a clue which of them it was.So i decided to make a program to view *.CWS file thumbnails without the use of Combustion.
The program itself is quite simple, you open it, click select a file, and it will automatically show the Thumbnail just like the one shown inside Combustion.
The thumbnails will automatically be saved as a BMP file along with being shown inside the application.
(this is a screenshot of a earlier version)
(screenshot of current version)You can download it here;

The program is written in AutoIT and can be decompiled.
You can also check the source code and process of the development here:
http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=41847&st=0#entry311529The program is still a bit slow when rendering the thumb but it’ll be fixed soon.
The “Edit Current” is also deactivated for now but will later make it possible to replace the thumbnail from any *.CWS file with a BMP file.
I am also planning on being able to view a entire folder at once instead of one file at a time, but until i fix the loop speed problem it will remain at file per file basis.Overall this is just something you would use once in a million years but i just love to make apps like these.
