Dead drive error message

Hiya,

I have a dead drive in my array and am archiving everything off but I keep
getting the error message saying “Warning. Bad Disk found. Continue?”

Is there any way to turn this off as it is slowing me down while I archive.

I’m on a Tezro.

Are you planning on fixing (replaceing the drive)? Or are you going to rebuild the StoneFS with one less drive?

I have done many “heals” and never archived anything and all has been well.
I don’t think you can turn off the warning untill you do a heal or reconfig the stones. But I never tried.

There might be a setenv for it.

I will be healing but i am waiting on some drives to be shipped here. In the meantime i am just getting everything off the system as a safety backup (also because i finally have a free day so i can do some housekeeping).

It’s not really a big deal, i can just keep hitting confirm.

Thanks for getting back with me on this error. I will check out the other post, but I think this is due to a bad hard drive. Thanks again.
