    Hello everyone,
When I’ve pulled keys in shake/nuke using keylight along with other keyers, I use the background images colors to be used in the despill process. In flame, it appears to let you only color correct the despill areas. This is not working very well for me… especially if there is a high contrast objects moving. Is there a way to use the background colors instead or another technique that would give me similar results i’d expect in shake/nuke?
    thanks for your time,

The Master Keyer does a bit of that, but not to the extent something like Keylight seems to.

The new Pixel Spread could go a long way towards your goal. It won’t be automatic, but with a matte and an inverted matte and a couple of logic ops you should be able to build up something similar using it’s “Interpolate” mode, which does some clever color blurring into areas.

Pixel spread seems like a great tool.
    I’ll give this a try 🙂

if u have a good matte then using logic ops and edge detects u should be able to get some of that bg grading mixing with your fg
