    Hi.

Does ne1 know how to configure/enable inputting of clips using a VTR from within Flame? I’ve tried about 4 types of RS-422 cable to connect the Panasonic DVCPRO AJ-D640 and tried using the different combinations of the VTR profile defined in Flame’s init.cfg but somehow Flame thinks the VTR is in local mode (even though the VTR is in REMOTE) Could this issue be more of a cabling + VTR setup and not the Flame configuration? Thanks in advance.

    I’d say it’s a vtr or cabling problem. I’ve used a Panasonic DVCPRO AJ-D650
(not the AJ-D640) with Flame 7/8 without any problems using standard init settings.

    Cheers, Alan.

Hi. I there a particular VTR cable I need to connect/control a Panasonic AJ-D640 VTR from Flame? Will a standard 9M-9M RS-422 in conjunction w/ a gender changer to convert the Octane end to a female? TIA.
