Loop particles in combustion? I really need to figure this out and it’s obviously not a default feature, I just wanted to see if anyone had any tricks to accomplish this… Thanks in advance.

Hi. What do you mean exactly with “loop particles”?

For example, if I’m trying to use particles as a background element and the whole 5 second piece needs to loop seemlessly then I need to control the particles in a way that bring the last frame close enough to the first frame that when it starts over it isn’t noticeable. Does that make sense?

Once you have open your particles, you can try with the “life” setting in the global emmiter settings and in the single behaviour settings. If you use a low “life” setting, when the last particle has dead, the newest particles are rising, so the result looks like a loop.
Of course, it depends. With many particles maybe it doesn,t work.

    Bye.

    Thanks, I’ll give that a try…
