    Hi Guys,

Thanks for your time and commitment sharing your VFX knowledge! I have a question… I’m doing a 2D to 3D stereoscopic conversion using Nuke, and my screenning target is Dolby 3D using their High Tech Anaglyph glasses. When generating the anaglyph, which should be setup on the node ShuffleCopy (ARGB) for each eye? I’d check out the wonderful article “Anaglyph Method Comparison” at 3dtv.at, but honestly I’m a little lost with this thing… Or maybe, there’s another method for this kind of conversion?

    Thanks in advanced!

    Dolby3D is NOT anaglyph

When projecting you are splitting left and right eye into slighly different wavelenghts of RGB using an alternate color filter wheel

there is no need for any kind of preprocessing on your side

Thanks mreithoffer for your quick response!

According to you, no preprocessing is needed. When I encode the content to be projected in 3D, nothing happens. Which method should I use?

    Thanks again!
