Hello, I would like to know the essential qualities of a good Digital Compositor. Can any of you guys give me some tips or specifics on what to focus on?

1. An eye for detail
2. An understanding of light and shadow
3. Technical understanding of film and video
4. An ability to focus and concentrate for several hours – while making small talk with clients.
5. An ability to read people and decode directions into specific shot issues
6. Some traditional art background is a great help – especially in color theory.
7. A love of the art.– mike
