I was watching our resident flame artist track some footage the other day in the new tracker (wow) and did a quick test in bringing in the data into Maya with FBX. The camera comes in ok but no tracking data.
Is there any way to export all the track points – either through an expression to add empty axes to each track or some other method? Anyone have some tips or experiences in the workflow between the new tracker and Maya?
thanks!

Humm, not in the current version, the only thing exported in FBX is the camera itself, nothing else.
Most of the time, it’s the other way around, maya exporting to IFF an FBX scene. You may have seen at the NAB User group tech demo that FBX import has been greatly improved, of course, I can’t say when it’s going to be available, but it’s going to be soon.
