Hello
Maybe it’s a simple question but I can’t handle
I’m trying to make a expression with two different sparks but Flame don’t let me.
I have two rack defocus, “defocus1” and “defocus2” and I wan´t to make a relation between it’s diferent width. My expression it’s:in defocus2
defocus1.Defocus_Width * 2
but it’s give me the error
unknow channel “Defocus_Width”
What I’m doing wrong? or I can’t make an expression between diferents sparks?
thanks in advice and sorry for my english

However While you get into a spark by hitting the edit button below, you can access only to that nodes’ channels. It has its own root where you can not access the actual batch scene root.
I think =))February 5, 2010 at 5:11 pm #218658fran allisonParticipantIt’s the same thing that I think. A big problem for Flame users

You can’t link channels, but you can copypaste them.
In this case you should type in your expression to any untouched channel in defocus1, bake it and copypaste it to defocus2.
Just don’t forget to reset the channel you used for baking.

I use copy/paste but isn’t a good solution because not only two defocus, there are 14 defocus with it’s owns animations. A little tedious to copy all of them.
Not a good idea that you can’t link sparks -
