Hi,
i would like to know if there’s any equivalent of the Flame extbicubic (or the gridwarp for those who are familiar with Fusion) for Combustion?
Actually for the kind of job i need to do, the Vision’s Plugin is too much simple …February 4, 2007 at 5:42 pm #214915SherazParticipantHaven’t heard of any, but i really need that sometimes for some projects too.
I really REALLY think they should add it in combustion.February 5, 2007 at 12:22 am #214918Jonas UssingParticipantThanks for your answer …
I think it is essential … it is the only tool missing in that software … and maybe a 3D tracking … 🙂February 5, 2007 at 12:41 am #214916SherazParticipantTBH i don’t like on-app 3d trackers.
I would definitely rather spend some money on a 3rd party tracking software to do the work, as you can do so much more and get a much better result by doing so. But 3D elements and the ability to operate with planes as a simple 3D application would do wonders.
They really need to redo some parts of the painting system, like making the brush editable in the timeline etc…
Multi-track audio and audio features like Adobe AfterEffects wouldn’t be bad eighter, tho i hardly dought that Combustion will ever get better on that area.February 5, 2007 at 12:48 am #214917Jonas UssingParticipantyou are abosutely right …
i use to work with Flame and i am maybe asking too much for a software like Combustion …
i guess i should try to do what i can with what i got for the moment … 😉February 5, 2007 at 12:54 am #214914SherazParticipantAmey wrote:you are abosutely right …

But as for Combustion there are many things you can get away with by using multiple layers and lay them out in a 3d view etc, but in the end external 3D applications work much better and you will have much more control of the output, depending on the task offcause.February 5, 2007 at 8:13 am #214913christianParticipantThe revision warper works very well. You should check it out.
It may not work like bicubic but you can get very similar results.
