On Flame 2011, when I copy a clip from one reel to another reel, then change name of the clip, then save both the reels with different names. when I load both the reels back to desktop, only one copy of the clips is loaded( the clips with the new name are only loaded, )
The only way i could have all clips load without jumping reels is if I commit the clips. But then I lose other data. I have a Flame 2007 as well, but here this function works fine.
I figure this is a clip ID issue. Is there any way to get around this problem?I saw something similar in 2010.1 (soft-cut clips would forget their new names if the old instance was still on the machine) but I thought I saw that it was one of the 2011 fixed bugs.
I’d talk to Autodesk support about it.
