Flame quicktime import question

Hello everyone!

If I have a QT on the PC or Mac, and move it to the Flame9.5.14 IRIX, it will not import the QT,or should I say some it does some, and some it won’t. I ck’ed to see what codec is being used, I test with an ANIMATION codec, which it should be able to load, but when I goto import I get the error
“unknown format”, but if I try one more same size and format, it has no trouble.?????

THe manual list the import quicktime supported codecs, but animation and photo JPG are not working. Can anyone pint me in the right direction? I really don’t want to goto seq. TGAs files

Do these QTs have audio with them? That might be the issue. Smoke on IRIX also has issues with audio on quicktimes. Use QT Pro to remove the audio channels and export a .wav out so that you can reassemble it later in Flame.

No audio on the clips, still can’t figure this one out.
