flint 2k7 action layer interface

hi guys,

just have a new flint 2k7 SP3 at the office,I’ve noticed that the action layer list interface is different from flame

I’ve seen screenshot from flint 9 that has the same action interface as flame
is there a way to change the action interface to look like flame?

you may not have the proper llicense. i belive you need to have an ‘extension’ license which you get when you are on subscription support. If not, the updates you get are only bug fixes, not new features.

i think we do have the extension 1 license,because we have all the new features (lens distort,muting action layer,quicktime,etc).
so can i change the interface now?

It is your Flint HD? What is the resolution that your computer is set? If is other than 1920×1200 then it is possible that the interface change a bit. I’ve seen a disclaimer about this in one of the manuals, but can’t remember which one.

you are not missing anything if you don t have the “enhanced” layer view.
i don t think they make my life any easier.

check usr/local/licenses folder and see if there is an extra line in your license that may be commented out by somebody who did not like to relearn the action that day>

As long as I know, license have only one line, at least mine, anyway, you can always contact support and find put why is different on you machine, if you have SP3 ext1, you have a valid contract for support. Calle them, teay are great.

If you do indeed have ext1 and subscription support you should have this view as an option. You can toggle the view (front only vs front and matte listed) by mousing over the list and pressing “f”

Took a while for us to figure that one out too.
