I’ve heard that Soho Editors, they never pay on time they lie, they dont deserve the reel they use, they dont know the difference between a good artist to a shit one. That they are so Dodgy and they can treat u like shit, and that they have damaged reputations of some artists. Also they bullshit u at the beginning, when u join them. I’ve recently joined them and I’m worried …is this true has anybody had similar experiences ? [img]images/forum/smilies/icon_frown.gif[/img]

Dont worry man they cant be that bad, I heard they were pretty good, who knows I’m not a big fan of any agency, the’re all the same to me they all say “if we dont get paid we cant pay you”, so wots the point, right.

If only there was a freelance employment “business” rather than “agency”, then by law they have to pay you on time and you can charge interest.

An agency can be a good excuse to clients, to not pay you, cos they dont have to face you, and they can lead yur agency on, wwhile your agency leads you on until you get paid or they go bankrupt, then you get nothing.
And an agencies real aim is to keep there clients happy and dont care much about you unless you have rep in the business and people know off how good you really are. But even so if you have rep, then you dont need an agency, unless you going abroad, even so if have a rep and you are with an agency then, your rep could be at risk, cos somebody else you dont know very well is repping you.
