What graphics card are you running in your system?
I have been running the new Smoke for Mac Beta on my Radeon HD 4870 but I read that the Nvidia Quadro 4000 is the recommended card to use. Would the Nvidia card be much of an improvement? I know very little about graphics cards. There are so many with so many different names that do not make any sense to me. What improvements can I expect with a higher-end card?

I’m assuming this card will be a huge improvement over the two cards above.When I’m looking at video cards what tech specs should I be looking at? It seems Nvidia has their own Open GL type thing going on with Cuda?
I also have a duel boot system so ideally the card can work for both Mac and Windows.
