Heat atmospheric distortion!

have you ever seen the distortion betwen a road on desert and the air when the sun is too hot?
or the ditort by heat behind the turbo jets?

I need help to recreate this atmospheric distortion!
so if you know or have a clue plz tell me

Use displacement effects for this.
