    Hello everyone!!

Im trying to add a heat haze look, from the thruster-port of an 3D model in Action/Batch

Ive fooled some with displacement, not working for me.

Ive got some thruster exhaust that that has been rendered out, thats what I had been piping back in , as the matte but I not getting a believable look.

Any thoughts, both pug-in and no plug-in ways.

    thanks

In addition to the displacement, blur the area, that tends to help a lot.

You can also layer different warps/displacements and blurs together to get a more complex look.

You can use – SpeedSix – HeatHaze spark.
