I have a serious issue, so any help is GREATLY appreciated!Huge render job due. Couldnt get MAX to see backburner, the install wasnt done right when combustion was put on this machine, so i figured I would uninstall it and reinstall from the MAX6 CD. Problem is, I just cant install just Backburner 2.2, I would have to uninstall and reinstall ALL of MAX 6 which I cant do right now due to all the custom paths and etc I have set up. Any one know how to do this from the CD without reinstalling MAX 6??
Thanks!

Three ideas.
1- I once copied the backburner directory from one machine to the others, and after re-entering the correct IP’s, it worked.
2- You can re-install your 3ds 6, after making a backup copy of the .ini files in the 3dsmax root directory and the complete UI folder. Just overwrite the ones installed by default.
3- 3ds 7 ships with a backburner stand alone installer. I guess you could get that one from any 3ds7 Cd (check if you need a license) or evendirectly from discreet.Hope it helps.

thanks again! 🙂
