Hi guys. I got one problem that I’m not sure how to solve best. I got 3D rendered sequence to comp in to dolly like move shoot miniature. Now 3d match is not perfect and shakes a bit. I was wondering if there is some way I can help stabilize in 2D. I remember one technique where I track 1st moving clip and then 2nd moving clip and then subtract the two and use that as a transform for 2nd clip or something like that.
    Does anyone have some ideas?

    Thanks,
    K.

    hi,

the theory would be to stabilize the clip you want to insert on its axis & add another 2 above, the top axis for tracking & the middle one for adjustments.

usually it can help to average the tracking on real shots a bit to match a (usually smooth) cg animation curve better …

    good luck

I know you have a dolly move, but…

One technique that may be helpful is to stabilize your background clip with the ROLL option. Do your comp, then load your render back into the stabilzer, load your stabilize setting, and NEGATE the shift. This will put the bounce back into the shot.
