In flame , how do you drag a clip to the timeline ( batch) when I try,it wants to delete/recycle icon, the clip. Where is this ” source area”, I must be missing something .

    Thanks for your time

Really depends on what your trying to achieve? If your in Batch select “Desk” and load in a clip…Then select (Layer+) go back to “Desk” and load in another clip. Select the first clip you loaded in so you can see your timeline for that clip, hold down Ctrl+shift and pull down onto your new Layer that clip…you will now have that clip added to the first clips timeline. If your new clip isnt lining up with your first clip at frame one, select Editing and de-select Ripple. You then can select V1.2 Layer and select Blend, set it to 50% you will see the mix between the two…Understand that this tip is the most basic way to get an additional clip onto your timeline. There are a variety, techniques to get additional Layers added to your timeline. Without knowing what exactly your trying to achieve…it may require a different process. Good Luck!
