    Hello all..

I am from Mongolia. In my country, we don’t have any VFX schools. Also i am struggling to study abroad VFX over 3 years, but, sadly, i still haven’t get a Visa. However I want to become a VFX artist so badly.
But I don’t know where to begin. Here is the questions:
    1. What is structure of becoming a vfx artist?
    2. What program should i learn?
    3. What is a theory behind applications?
    4. what books should i read?
    5. Is there any online VFX programs?

Having said that, if you give me a good guidance i will be very grateful for you.

    Hi
Rising Sun Pictures is an Australian CGI company, visit their website http://www.rsp.com.au/recruitment/theBasicsOfVFX.htm
You can download free and trail programs like Nuke – by The Foundry
Nuke is typically used by compositors, digital painters, rotoscopers & matte painters.
    Maya – by Autodesk
Maya is an extensive software package used world wide by RSP & other leading VFX houses. The software is predominantly used for modeling, animation, simulation, visual effects, lighting & rendering and matchmoving.
    Houdini – by SideFX
Houdini is a powerful node based 3d software package responsible for creating some of today’s award winning digital effects. Houdini is renowned for excellence in creating real world phenomena such as smoke, fire, particle, dynamics and other simulated effects.

    I hope that helps you
