Is there a way to change the meta-data of a clip? Let’s say someone captured a clip with the project set to 4:3 (1.333). But the clip was in fact anamorphic so I want the ascpect to be 16:9 (ratio 1.778). I can change this with resize. But is there a way to change the value without processing?

save it to the library and reload it to desktop with resize option on in the library…it will reload it instantly as long as you use fill (rather than crop edges, etc), which is all you need to do for changing the meta data from 4/3 to 16/9 and vice versa
this works for an entire desktop in one go!

You can also hit the Soft Clip button in Resize, in which case it won’t process anything, just output a new clip with the metadata set different.

Missed that button, doh! I guess I should have RTFM. Anyway, now I have everything I need. Thanks for your help.
