I have a comp that has aprox 50 nodes with animation on them. I need to slide all the curves back 100 or so frames.. the way that I would imagine this would be done is to select all the nodes, load their curves into the curve editor, select the keys, and use the move frames command.. but I cant seem to figure out how get all of the nodes, in one step, into the curve editor. It seems I have to select each one individually and add it to the curve editor. Some nodes are already there, but they seem to be only ones I have manually added, or created within this nuke session. Is there a shortcut I am missing? I might also try to see if its less work to use a bunch of offset nodes..

I tend to be more script inclined, so I looked around for some python scripts that might be able to offset all curves that match a search string, by a given amount, but could not find one. So, I might go ahead and write that myself, tho I am a bit new to nuke – does anyone have any example python scripts that select and manipulate animation curves?

    Thanks for any help,

    Seth

    Hi Seth

You have to make sure that you set the maximum number of nodes you can view in the properties bin high enough. if you have around 50 nodes set it temporary to 70 or so, and select all your nodes you need to move, right click on empty canvas – Edit -> Node -> Open, and then you should see all your curves in the curve editor, and you can use the move option on your selected keys.

…Or you could just use a TimeOffset node at the bottom of your script…

    good luck.
