So I’m thinking about buying a 20” Imac for home w/2gb ram plus external HD. I just want to run FCP + AE(just to figure them out, more or less). Will this set-up have enough horsepower to accomplish this? I play a Smoke editor on TV, with very little mac experience. Are there any gotchas with the Intel chipset vs. Adobe ie: will this make FCP and AE run that much quicker? Any input is much appreciated.
