Importing Tiff Seq’s In 2009

Hi,

Wanted to ask if while importing sequences smoke could automatically take the tape name by a combination of Up 1 level and Up 2 level. We’re often importing sequences that go like this

sq101/s1/image.tif

We’re doing this by the thousands and it’s a pain to have to rename the files after import and the accuracy sucks.

Is there some way to automate or script this?

Material is coming in from external sources on firewire drives.

hi,
in 2009 you can select “Tape from Directory” in import image & enter the amount of levels you want to be considered – so it should be exactly, what youre looking for.
