Is there a flame-like average function in ae?

I have this recurring issue:
Flame had a very cool function where one could average a clip and have the frames blend with each other over a specified number of frames. Is there an ae equivalent? I’ve tried frame blending but it just doesn’t cut it. Any suggestions or tips much appreciated, thanks:)

sorry to reply this late, haven’t been around for some time but maybe this helps someone
there is a filter Echo time (or in newer AE version it’s in the folder Time, called Echo) which does quite similar stuff as flame’s average
you need to tweak the settings and it’s painfully slow but it does the job.
