Hi guys,
My name is Rahul, I am doing a degree in Media technology. I am intrested in VX, I love doing combustion! though i am not work in it too much! i also love particles and fx in max! So Now I would like to specailise in one area only. to become best in that area! or can i do both at the same time, can i be a fx artist and compositor at the same time? But i am little week in dynamics simulations!
what u guys think?
cheers

I had the same hard decision to take few years ago:first I started with 3d more than compositing, then when I understood what could I do best with 3d I just concentrate on that to improve it(that is modeling and cameras animations), then I entered seriously compositng area where I think I am more skilled.
So know I can do something more than just compositing.
U got to be clever understanding as soon as possible your limits so u won’t waste time.
Anyway experiment and try different things and stay close to somebody more experienced than you, this his my final hint.
Good luckJanuary 30, 2006 at 3:16 am #211710metalrahulParticipanthi Thanks for that tip! for the time being i will try to mess with different things
