I’m a noob using nukex.. I have a typical driver shot inside a car in front of a green screen, and in the footage shows one of the side windows of the car is darker or tinted so the green screen is a grayish green when showing through that window (a lot of action happening in front of this window so I can’t garbage matte it). What’s a good workflow for keying this footage with multiple shades of green? The interior of the car is also a lot of gray, so keying for that particular window is troublesome and picks up the gray shades of the driver and interior car with it.
ThxApril 25, 2014 at 5:14 am #220169AnonymousInactivehi there …hope you are doing fine there 🙂
well i just joined the forum and found your post regarding keying process ..
if you have solved it then great .. as your post is pretty old ..but…?????
if you are still looking for a solution then i can help..
in that case i would like you to send me at least five frames of that green screen shoot with the back ground..ask why..??
well keying process does rely on Resolution, bit depth, camera sub sampling, lighting..etc
that’s why each case/project bring different challenges…and i don’t know yours..
as soon as i resolve it i will send you the script and tell you about the process..
Regards.

So what this does is you only apply the chroma removal tool to those particular pixels you want the chroma to go from. Hope this helps.
