keying of HD?

any one have any htoughts on the adviabliity of shooting blue/green screen off the newer HD cameras?

in particular..
Panasonic Varicam camera – what do you htink of this format for bluescreen in terms of compression etc? It is 8 bit and 4:2:2 recording onto tapes which are DVCPRO HD.

i’ve keyed Panasonic Varicam footage for a video clip six months ago, and it worked quite great. I would say that for coming back to SD video (the case for my video clip), it’s the way, but little edges problems make Varicam difficult to use for going to film or “real” HD format.
