Lasergraphics ‘the Director’

Hi Guys

Trying to set up a DI workflow with a modest budget… been looking at Lasergraphics ‘The Director’.
Their claim is certainly very attractive in terms of price, speed and performance. But are there any end users in here can offer more REAL insight. Especially in areas of work flow (speed), quality (can the scanned images pass for skin care and cosmetic product in tv commercials). comparison with other scanners (Imagica, Ditto) or comparison to a used telecine with a similar budget.

Any comments are much appreciated.
