Hi all.
I have a freeze frame of the sea, and I would like to make a four seconds effect emulating a brave motion in the water, sometning vibrant and with own life. Any idea?Thank,s.

But there are about a gazillion ways to do this,
and each will have it’s own look….
So…. Just to get your OWN mental juices started…
I’ll just toss out a few rough ideas………Idea 1) Combustion has Ripple and Ripple Pro Effects built in: Use Draw Selection to select the Lower third of your still. Feather the upper edge. Then, apply and animate a different Ripple and/or Ripple Pro effect to the layer. Apply and animate various amount of motion blur as well. Now, under Schematic View (F12) Copy the effect twice. Move the first effect selection to the middle of your still shot and the last copy selction to the top of the still. Further mulipulate & Animate each selection to create the “water” feel you want but remember to adjust each of the selections so that they appear seamless.
Idea 2) Use a camcorder to grab a video clip of a water surface — convert it to monochrome — Using the paint transfer & texture tools, map the still to the B&W motion clip — this would transfer & apply the “look” to the still…
Idea 3) If you have Cv3, you can use the the included RE-Flex warper — It could be a lot of fun to try out and apply, again to layered segments, an animated warp effect, and you can even combine this with the Ripple and/or Ripple Pro to further enhance the effect.
I could go on and on and on and on and on and on …….
But I think you get the idea…Keep combustin’
