    Hi to all fxguide users

My name is Nikhil and I am a online artist working on the Smoke ver 2009
I have this project in which i have to create a dark plasma ball with lightning bolts and gaseous smoke around it.
(for eg entry of the terminator in terminator 3)

I can figure out the part of gaseous smoke and lightning bolts
I need to know how can i create the dark plasma ball using the 3d element in smoke.

    There is another problem.
the 3d element sphere in smoke also has discreet printed on it.
Is there a way to import the 3d element (sphere) without the discreet logo.

    anyone with a solution
    please let me know.

    thanks
    nikhil

PS: I dont have any support from CGI as I dont have aCGI team here.

turn off submaterials on the sphere. you can then texture it with anything in action.

This is for after effects but the concepts could easily be applied to Smoke (probably more suited to Flame so you can use particles).

just find a plasma ball element already shot. heck, i can ftp one for ya. it will be NTSC, but, you’ll get so much more stuff for free. and then work on top of it.
