Hello all, pros and amateurs…
I am planning to make a video with a composited big man in a city. Normally I just work as digital compositor, but this time is a favor i do to a friend. The less we spend in produce it, the best. I will direct the shots and I am used to work with prefilmed footage. Thats why i am here asking for some help. It would be awesome if people that has done similar things could orient me on things to consider (lenses, known problems, things to avoid, studio, tricks in compositting it…)
I have a digital dvcam to make it and a studio reserved for 1 day. There is some money to get more materials but not much… It has to be a guerrilla work. Here are two examples of what i want to. One is compositting and the second is using scale models. Using scale models could be achieved because in my country theres a place with scaled models of the city, the only problem is that it couldn’t be modified and maybe we will have problems to get the permissions to film there. So any help would be well recieved.
