Lets say you have a sequence and you place an effect on it …like;….a box blur.
How do you mask this operator effects to just be in one portion of the image or just ‘mask-off’ part of the blurred effect?
Sorry new at combustion but do it in a flash in DF. Thanks big time!

operator>>seòections>>draw selections then click double on the selection operator in the workspace to access his toolbar, then choose the kind of sel you want, draw it(they are like masks in C4, I mean the drawing mode is the same) then add your next operator and voilat you got your effects just over the portion of the image you selected.
Another interesting way is about using the keyer tools and then output them as selections through their control panel.
Have fun, welcome to C4October 16, 2005 at 1:22 am #210878AnonymousInactiveNomak wrote:there are lot of ways, the fastest and simplest is the selection tool, anyway.

Have fun, welcome to C4Keyers also can be applied for selection of colors, useful in specific treatments, as to replace a color. Creating a layer from keyer is good therefore it is use the blend modes
