DevaStudios is seeking freelance experienced Maya technical directors with experience in theatrical finishing for upcoming projects.
Ideal candidate is expert level in Maya (5 years experience minimum), and has either a strong AfterFX or Nuke compositing and finishing background. This is a hands-on position – you will be the team leader in executing projects based on approved designs and animatics.
Must haves:
-A great looking reel of theatrically finished VFX work
-Extensive stereoscopic experience
-Demonstrated ability to both take direction and structure working practices, while engineering practical pipeline solutions
– Compositional taste, eye for detail, good communicate and problem solving skills are a must
Experience in theatrical marketing is a plus. This is a project-based freelance position in Santa Monica, CA. Local candidates only.
