hello there
i’m doing morphs in C4 at the moment (AE RE:Flex Morph) and have some questions:
* what does accumulate folds do?
* is there any way to soften the splines/masks around things like hairlines and mouths?
* what is boundary used for? (why would i use that if i have splines?)
* what is the best way to get smoother morphs: more splines/less splines, over less time/more time?grrrrr. not having much luck: getting some ‘tearing’ and ‘pulling’ of the pixels resulting in jagged edges…
any help would be appreciated
thanksNovember 23, 2005 at 11:50 pm #211184AnonymousInactivelook at the help of RE:Flex, several of its questions have answers in the help. The number of splines it depends very on objects and of the form with that they are animated

i know this seems obvious, but my workstation is not on the net, so the C4 help is not active: have tried looking at the reflex tutes and documents, but cant seem to find this info?
some of my morphs are working well, but some are not (which i suspect is the pronounced shift between source images)perhaps its a simple setting i need to change?…
any advice would be helpful?November 24, 2005 at 12:16 am #211185AnonymousInactivejunglerose wrote:Vympel

November 24, 2005 at 12:42 am #211187roseParticipantok…
i have been nesting my 2 source files in one, rather than each separately, and instead of doing ‘from’ and ‘to’ have been using just one spline between 1st and last frames (1st = image 1, last = image 2), which seems to work well on some, but not others…
so will it be better if i do the separate nests (2) and use the ‘from’ and ‘to’ ?
also, this link suggests motion morph is better than straight morph: true?
unfortunately i have very limited time for these shots: will i get better results if i do the above do you think?
; )
