3.KING KONGOk where is Starwars Episode 3 for best visual effects.Certainly I would have taken
out War of the Worlds and put EP III in its place,but I think the oscar will definatly go to King Kong.I must say – with no disrespect to the other three films, that i was stunned that Star Wars Ep 3 was not nominated.
While Kong is insanely great – what is perhaps more impressive is Weta’s run…

I guess SW suffers from the been there done that syndrome. It was expected that Ep. III looked awesome. I guess they thought it wasn’t that big of an achievment considering that it was ILM working for their boss…
As for WETA they are emerging as the No. 2 studio just after ILM… kudos for them…
