what is the best way to achive color people in a b&W world,

    1) shoot all color then rotoscope out the areas you want black and white ?
this will take a lot of time i am guessing, there will be lots of interaction and stuff crossing each other.

    2) production design the set to be grey scale, and the black and white people in grey scale clothes and put green/red make up on there skin and hair. to color correct in post later, then all the color stuff have in color. !!

i am not entiley sure or is there a magic trick. ???

    please help

I think either approach would require roto… i’d take the less restrictive to shoot path I think.
