Hi; I’m just beginning to use DF; very impressed by its capabilities.
My first job (just for learning porpouses) was to convert a sequence of iff files (a sequence of PAL frames rendered with Maya) to an AVI (BTW, compressed with the Panasonic DV codec), making some Color Correction adjustments, too.
I liked very much the result shown in the DF’s viewports; even when I play the AVI file with a windows player, I get the result I wanted. But whe I see the same file in a PAL monitor (via the GeForce 5700U’s television output) the overal brigthness of the image is higher.I’ve seen there’s a gamma correction & a customized LUT in Preferences/View/Display Correction in DF. Which values should I use?
BTW, I’d like to put this file in a Premiere project, and burn a DVD with it. Perhaps the conversion to mpg makes the proper adjustements of gamma at the end (this way, no need to change the gamma in DF)?
Thanks in advance.

But I did get it more then once and not all from Fusion.Best way (for you) is to make a DVD of it (as mpeg 2 is much better encoding) and watch it on few TVsets. And while your at it produce some simple Color Bar images as video clips and includ them to as this will give you a more accurate info about color and contrast.
