i am sonia from india..

i am a 3d computer animator. i use maya and max for my animations and now i am extreamly interest in post production and want to learn flame and inferno.

in india even discreet is not providing training of these mammoth softwares.

would you please tell me where can i get training of flame or inferno..

wht would you sugguest…..flame or …inferno??

please tell…..

i hear that flame artist (with 3-4 year of experience)is earning 130000$ in us market annualy …is it true??

Flame and Inferno have the exact same toolset. Inferno has more “horsepower” and is targeted for 2K/4K film compositing.

And while there are no guarantees, and compensation is based on many criteria, and pay varies from region to region of the US, the salary you mentioned is not out of the question.

if you have comped for about 2-3 years then i’d reckon you’d be upto learning and spending that kind of money learning flame.

and unless youre going to be a smoke op, be prepared to do lots of wire work…from helll 😈
