    Hi All…

In my current incarnation, I find myself producing car spots. And, no not the cool kind. 🙂
Mostly for local dealers in a number of markets in the US. Honestly, although I know a number of applications, the pipeline here is based around Photoshop and Motion. Based on GPU and with it’s unique timeline it’s really fast for what we do here. All this is fine.

I’m always pushing 2.5D in my comps and I’m wondering if delving into “projection” in Nuke or Fusion is a way to continue to or even apply to the motion graphic work I do?

Thoughts or scenarios of application would be great to know.

Projection mapping is awesome, so yes, it should be useful to you. I can’t say specifically how you should be using it, but combined with a 3d camera track, you can pull off some otherwise nearly impossible stuff in a comp.
