Hi.
I wonder wether you could use offline DV PAL (720×576) anamorphic 16:9 material as proxies for the online material HDV (1440×1080).
In other words: is it posible to compensate, as I suspect, with the pixel aspect ratio, for the fact that a proxie is not smaller in the same proportion for both x and y dimensions? (1440/720 = 2; 1080 /576 = 1.875)
I have actually created a macro that deals with this, but still would need something else to handle rotation issues… So perhaps if this can be fixed just with certain custom proxie settings I’d save a hell of a lot of time.
I’ve done some tests and got unconsistent results, and am pretty certain that somehow the fact that the dimensions dont go in the same proportion is spoiling the pipeline.
