    Hi at all,

i m currently occupied with the use of Normalmaps for relighting in compositing and i try to find out the possibilities of creating Normal renders.
so rpf and exr file formats are able to store the normals as an arbitrary image channel, but they just store them in camera space. camera space normals are not usefull for doing relighting if you have in image sequence with a moving camera.

so now i have the question why they store normals in camera space or if their is a possibility to change the space?

Or do you now another use for the normals channel?

Thank you a lot in advance.

screen space normal render passes are, in fact, used for relighting cgi renders.
