From what I have heard, the next service pack release for smoke/flame/flint on Linux will support quicktime and many of the codecs. Apparently, the Red Hat folks figured it out.
Is there any truth to this rumor? Will it require a Red Hat update? Will we be able to push and pull quicktimes in all their flavors?
If this is indeed the truth, this is a huge deal.
Any information anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated.

April 4, 2007 at 5:04 pm #215136AnonymousInactiveAnyone know if it’s QT import and export ? any news on whether the new release can actually create QT’s on linux IFF ? common sense says you dont want to tie up a IFF suite spitting out QT’s but it happens.
cheers
