Years ago, we started a topic similar to this, I think 4-5 years ago. Maybe you can look to flame-news archive. But those salaries might be old for today.September 23, 2003 at 9:14 pm #207179AnonymousInactiveHeh. What was the offer and for which city in Canada? 🙂 It all varies by location and your expertise with the software. Possibly client relations might help if it’s a senior position.

You could also try your question at vfxtalk.com. There are a couple AE artists there that could probably answer your question more appropriately. Averages again, across Canada or the US, vary wildly by region. Which city, or maybe, which area? Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Halifax, etc?
Most people will not quote a direct salary range in a public forum to an anonymous poster.

and the area of expertiese is mostly commercials, working of Flame.
but i’d like to know the range of AE as well. Thanks, people,

This all depends on the size of the company, what type of work you’ll be doing and how much experience you have. Hope this helps.
Cheers 🙂
