Hi all…
I have shake running on G5 2x2ghz with 8gb ram. When I am using the clone tool/paint tool/quickmask, on a 2K dpx sequence, every brush stroke i make, system takes time to generate the stroke on the screen. So i am forced to wait till each stroke appears on screen to proceed with the next screen. Can anyone please suggest a method to solve this problem… all suggestions are appreciated..

The bad thing is though you won’t be able to see how much you’re painting untill you update. So you end up going back to edit your curves…

When I got the Shake 3.5 running on Panther (10.3.4) I saw a great imrpovement of performance on every kind of process…Cya!

Remember that the paint node will break the tile based rederings in Shake, and the DoD, so place the node at a strategic place in your comp.
